Experimental Irish shoegazers Just Mustard have been on a steady incline for some time. Sharing a haunting new single today, we'd hazard a guess that there's a new album on the horizon, via their newly appointed home Partisan Records. Menacingly chugging along, an ominous bass groove forms the foundation of 'I Am You'. Held in place by stunted beats, the track builds in intensity over its near-four-minute duration, as tension-inducing guitars and industrial sound effects add to the eventual cacophony. As ever, Katie Ball celestially soft vocals sit in stark contrast, occupying the upper end of the mix (expertly carried out by David Wrench).
